Summer is well and truely upon us! A wet Dec/Jan for much of Australia has put a hole in many people's outdoor activities. Good chance to check the latest offering from Outdoor HQ. The Outdoor team has just returned from a refreshing high country trip to start 2008. A fairly routine walk through the spectacular wildflowers was punctuated by a evening of ridge top storm viewing and a seriously windy night's sleep. The trip gave us a great opportunity to test multi day backpacks and enjoy the fruits of an up-coming gourmet camp eating piece. Keep an eye out for these stories in the forthcoming Mar/Apr Issue.
